Online store for e-bikes in Kerala to boost electric vehicles

The Indian State of Kerala has taken an interesting measure to promote e-bikes with a view to conservation of environment and reduce dependence on fossil fuel.

Since the e-bikes are new and people are confused over the selection of right bikes, the government has decided to guide the bike buyers.

For this a website has been created in association with State’s Energy Management Centre (EMC) and Convergence Energy Services Limited. Additionally an Android mobile application is there from which one can buy electric scooters of his choice.

The ‘MyEV’ website and app, is ready to be launched by the Electricity Minister K Krishnankutty. They app and portal will be functional after their launch on Wednesday.

Among the listed e-scooters are, Ather, Hero and the e-bike Revolt among 12 other e-scooters.
