India-UAE Business Forum brings 114 companies together to explore trade, investment and joint ventures across key sectors
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) is leading a delegation of more than 34 Abu Dhabi companies to Mumbai to strengthen commercial ties with India and explore new opportunities for trade, investment and business partnerships.
The delegation, headed by Abu Dhabi Chamber First Vice Chairman Dr Ali bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, will participate in the India-UAE Business Forum at The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. The forum is being organised by the Abu Dhabi Chamber in cooperation with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), with participation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
A total of 114 companies from Abu Dhabi and India are taking part in the forum. Discussions will focus on specific trade and investment opportunities, potential joint ventures and stronger direct links between businesses.

The meeting comes amid continued growth in UAE-India economic relations following the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA)

Bilateral trade reached US$101.25 billion in the 2025-26 financial year, crossing US$100 billion for the second consecutive year. The two countries have set a target of increasing bilateral trade to US$200 billion by 2032
The Abu Dhabi delegation is focusing on manufacturing, food security and agricultural technology, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, financial services and fintech. Scheduled business-to-business meetings are expected to examine specific opportunities for cooperation and investment.
The growing presence of Indian businesses in Abu Dhabi also highlights the depth of commercial ties. As of August 2026, the Abu Dhabi Chamber had 21,085 active Indian member companies. In 2025, 4,642 new Indian companies joined the chamber, an annual increase of 38.8 per cent.
The Mumbai forum follows recent high-level UAE-India engagement, including the visit of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to India for the 18th BRICS Summit earlier this month.
