His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck and senior officials from Bhutan’s Royal Government, will embark on an official visit to India from December 5 to 6, 2024.
This visit aims to provide a platform for both nations to assess their multifaceted bilateral relationship and explore avenues to deepen collaboration across various sectors
During this significant visit, His Majesty is scheduled to meet India’s Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. In addition, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and other senior Indian officials will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with the King.
India and Bhutan share a distinctive bond of friendship and cooperation built on mutual trust, understanding, and respect.
