Abhishek Kumar, a talented software engineer from Jamu Khariya village in Bihar’s Jamui district, has secured a prestigious role at Google’s London office with an impressive ₹ 2 crore annual package. His journey, marked by resilience and dedication, is an inspiring example of how perseverance and hard work can lead to extraordinary success, ndtv.com reported.

Abhishek completed his early education in Jamui and later earned a degree in Software Engineering from NIT Patna. His journey began with a ₹ 1.08 crore package at Amazon in 2022, where he worked until March 2023. Afterward, he joined a German investment firm’s foreign exchange trading unit. Despite having a full-time job, Abhishek continued to pursue his dream of working at Google, dedicating every spare moment to honing his coding skills and preparing for the rigorous interviews.

  • Despite the challenges, including personal difficulties and health issues in his family, Abhishek’s determination never wavered.
  • “Coming from a small village where my home was made of mud, I always believed that with the right resources and dedication, success was possible.” he shared

“It was a tough balancing act, managing my job and preparing for interviews at the same time,” Abhishek explained. “I spent 8-9 hours working and used the rest of my time to focus on coding and interview strategies.”

His hard work paid off when he cracked the Google interview. Starting in October, Abhishek will embark on this exciting new chapter in his career.
