The British national carrier launched an online campaign,‘The Best Gift’ today, ahead of Diwali. The film narrates the story of a young man wanting to buy a suitable gift for his family for Diwali and how he ends up giving his family the best gift, a surprise visit to his family.
Diwali, as we know is the season of gifting to our friends and family. With the pandemic, friends and families have been kept apart for a long time. There seems to be no better time to travel than now.
British Airways is announcing exciting fares for customers to give them yet another reason to travel to meet their loved ones, between October 18 –November 3, 2021. The lowest fare in World Traveller (economy) from India to the UK is INR 47,200 and INR 158,970 in Club World (business). Travel must be completed on or before March 31, 2022.

“Many of our customers have been separated from family and friends abroad for a very long duration of time. We have announced some exciting offers for anyone wanting to plan a trip this Diwali, while making the most of these great offers. British Airways’ flexible booking policy also gives our customers reassurance if their plans change.”

The film has been produced by Ogilvy in Gurgaon and is based on the insight that how people want to be reunited with their loved ones, especially to celebrate festivals like Diwali.
Customers booking with British Airways can do so with absolute confidence, thanks to the airline’s flexible booking policy. They are able to exchange their booking for a voucher or move their dates without incurring a change fee. British Airways’ existing online Covid hub includes information on flexible bookings, testing, how to use a voucher and what the British Airways flying experience looks like for those that haven’t travelled for some time.
British Airways has also introduced a number of measures at the airport and on board to look after the safety and wellbeing of its customers and colleagues. These include social distancing measures, the wearing of face masks (which remain in place) and hand sanitiser stations. Prior to travel customers will also receive details of how they can prepare for their journey, including information on discounted testing providers.
