The visiting delegation members of the Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce were felicitated by SITE (Sustainability, Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship) Foundation of India, India Heritage Culture & Art Trust and Federation of Associations of Small Industries of India (FASII) at a ceremony held at the Press Club of India, New Delhi, on Friday.
Shoolpani Singh, Founder and Managing Trustee of SITE, IHCA, and FASII welcomed the delegation led by Founder President Naresh Kumar Chawda, felicitated the delegation members in presence of media and distinguished guests from various industries.
Naresh Kumar Chawda said the Canadian Hindu Chambers of Commerce plans to deepen engagement with India through its “Invest India, Invest Canada” initiative, which will be organised three times in Canada in 2026. Two of these events will focus exclusively on Uttar Pradesh, aiming to connect Canadian investors with opportunities in the state.

He mentioned about the delegation’s meeting with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath who assured full support from the state government and highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s transformation into a secure, stable, and business-friendly state.
“The CM attributed the improved investment climate to governance reforms, enhanced law and order, and policies aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s broader vision of trade, technology, and tourism-led growth,” Naresh Chawda said.
