Government confirms that LTVs for Hindu Pakistani nationals remain valid despite suspension of visas for Pakistani nationals
Following the Government of India’s decision on April 24, 2025, to suspend visa services for Pakistani nationals, a clarification has been issued regarding Long Term Visas (LTVs) for Hindu Pakistani nationals.
The revocation of visas does not affect the LTVs already issued to Hindu Pakistani nationals, which remain valid.
This clarification ensures that Hindu Pakistani nationals holding Long Term Visas will not be impacted by the recent suspension of regular visas for Pakistani citizens. The government has made it clear that the suspension only applies to new visa applications and does not extend to existing LTVs.
