Kalra felt the apathy of the poor students who could not afford smartphones and their studies were suffering at a time when all other students were attending online classes.

There were instances in which many students lost their parents due to Covid. They were helpless and their studies might have been stopped, but for madam Kalra’s positive intervention the students could continue classes.

“Not easy to ask for donations from people. But by the grace of God, some people agreed and many others joined. I am thankful those people who trusted me and helped the students come out of the trauma of not having resources to continue studies,” she said.
