Film offer from Bollywood: Seema Haider auditions for role of RAW agent

In the eye of a media storm ever since her illegal entry into India in May this year, Seema has been offered the star role of a RAW agent in the film “A Tailor Murder Story”.

New Delhi: From a cross-border fugitive seeking love, security and a new life in India, Pakistani woman Seema Haider’s life may soon take a much more dramatic turn. She is just a step away from the tinsel-and-glitter world of Bollywood as a leading lady, an India Today report says,

In the eye of a media storm ever since her illegal entry into India in May this year,  Seema has been offered the star role of a RAW agent in the film “A Tailor Murder Story”.

The film deals with the true-life incidents connected with the murder of a tailor, Kanhaiya Lal, in Udaipur, Rajasthan, by Islamic radicals.

Following her meeting with the film’s directors Jayant Sinha and Bharat Singh and a team from the Jani Firefox Production House, Seema auditioned for the upcoming film on Tuesday, August 2,  .

This whole thing certainly has a strong element of dramatic irony. At one stage of ongoing investigations by Indian agencies, Seema was accused of being a Pakistani spy working for ISI.  And here in India, RAW is the country’s intelligence agency.

Seema Haider (30), illegally entered India through Nepal along with her four children, for the sake of love. She had met Sachin Meena (22) an Indian man in 2019, during the Covid 19 pandemic while playing PUBG, an international gaming platform.

In course of time the two fell in love, which led to her extreme step of running away from home to marry Sachin, and settle in India, come what may. Sachin lives in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, bordering New Delhi, India’s capital.

The two planned their first meeting in Nepal in March 2023 where they reportedly got married according to Hindu rituals after Seema converted to Hinduism and spent a week together. Later, Seema entered India through Nepal on May 13 with her children, all below seven years.

She was already married then to a man in Pakistan, Ghulam Haider…

who works in Saudi Arabia and wishes to reunite   with  his  family.  .

Seema, however, does not want to go back to Pakistan.  She fears she will face death either by stoning or beheading, by Muslim fundamentalists in Pakistan.

In a recent news channel report in the  Indian media,  Seema and Sachin  claimed that they have been struggling to make ends meet as they were facing shortages of food and other necessary items.
