Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar assured Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar that the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is making all possible efforts to get the release of Vishal Judd from the custody of Australian jail.

Vishal Judd is languishing in the Australian jail for the last two months. Vishal was arrested by the Australian Police in the alleged ‘hate crime’ case. He said to have stood up against a pro-Khalistani protest on April 16, 2021, for his involvement in an attack in Sydney.

According to people of Indian origin in Australia, Vishal, an Indian student, was arrested in April for confronting Khalistani extremists and anti-India propagandists living in Australia. It has been two months since his arrest and Australian.

Who is Vishal Jude?

24-year-old Vishal Judd from Haryana is studying in Australia. He was arrested in Sydney on April 16 for his alleged involvement in three criminal incidents. Australian police officers took custody of Vishal after a group of Indian nationalists clashed with Pro-Khalistanis in Australia. There have been charges of damage to property and assault on Vishal.
