Indian professionals seeking employment in Germany must first secure a job offer from a recognised German employer before applying for a long-term national work visa. Applicants are generally required to hold qualifications recognised under German standards, submit proof of employment, valid travel documents, health insurance and evidence of financial stability. Visa applications are processed through German diplomatic missions in India after payment of the prescribed application fee.
