The state of Texas in the USA is very soon going to have its first Hindu Campsite thanks to people who donated generously for the cause. An NRI couple has donated a massive amount of $1.75 million in order to help the construction of the site to commence, reported m9.news.
The couple from Houston, Texas, said that it is the best thing they could do for the next generation. Subhash Gupta and Sarojini Gupta, who made the donation originally belong to Pilkhuwa town in Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking at an interview, the couple said they feel that the youth is already losing interest in Hindu Dharma and values and therefore whatever they can do is for the better.

The campsite is being constructed on a 37 acre property in Columbus, Texas and its construction would finish in summer next year.
It will include cabins, a swimming pool, a huge dining hall with a capacity to host 200 people. It will also have an amphitheater and basketball court. The campsite will host Hindu Heritage Youth camps every year that will inculcate the Hindu traditions and way of life in young minds. The campsite will prove to be a big boost to the Hindu community in the region.
