British authorities are actively searching for Pankaj Lamba, the husband of Harshita Brella, an Indian-origin woman whose body was discovered in the boot of a vehicle on Brisbane Road in Ilford, London, during the early hours of November 14.

Detective Chief Inspector Johnny Campbell from the East Midlands Special Operations Major Crime Unit (EMSOU) expressed condolences to those mourning Harshita’s tragic death. “Harshita was a young woman in her early 20s, with her whole life ahead of her. It is absolutely devastating that her life has been cut short in such a way,” he stated.

“Detectives from EMSOU and Northamptonshire Police are working tirelessly to uncover the exact timeline and circumstances of this heinous crime.”

Investigators suspect that Lamba murdered Harshita in Northamptonshire earlier this month before transporting her body to London. Police believe he used a car to move her remains and have confirmed that Lamba has since fled the UK.
