A 28-year-old Indian student from Hyderabad, Mohammed Wajid, was killed in a fatal road accident in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA. Wajid, a native of the Khairatabad area, was also an active leader of the Youth Congress in Khairatabad Division and a member of the NRI Minority Congress Committee in the USA, reported gujaratsamachar.com.

Wajid’s Semi-Truck Collides with a Grain Hauler at an Intersection

The accident occurred on January 28 when Wajid, driving a semi-truck, failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection. His vehicle crashed into a truck hauling grain, striking its rear and causing it to split in half.

Mohammed Shahabuddin, a leader of the Telangana Congress Committee, expressed his grief on social media, stating, “Today is a sad day for me and our entire Congress family.

We’ve lost a dear friend and colleague, Mohammed Wajid, in a tragic accident in Chicago, USA.”

He further added, “Wajid was an active leader of the Youth Congress in Khairatabad Division and a member of the NRI Minority Congress Committee in the USA. His passion, energy, and dedication to our organisation will be deeply missed.”
