Some places near Batseri on Sangla-Chitkul Road witnessed multiple landslides.
The landslide victims were travelling in an auto-rickshaw. A total of 11 passengers were travelling in the auto-rickshaw when heavy boulders fell on it. Besides nine death, two have got serious injuries.
Kerala in South India is also receiving heavy rains. The most affected are Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Kottayam, Alappuzha and Ernakulam.
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert in all the above-mentioned districts.
