India is cementing its reputation as a global technology and electronics hub at GITEX Global Dubai 2025, with the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) leading a delegation of 100 Indian companies. The India Pavilion, featuring 237 companies across multiple thematic halls, showcases the nation’s growing prowess in electronics manufacturing, innovation, and ICT exports, reported ddnews.gov.in.
The participating companies, including MSMEs and export-ready startups, are presenting a wide array of solutions spanning artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), smart mobility, and digital infrastructure. Their presence emphasizes India’s efforts to expand its footprint in global tech supply chains and access new export markets through Dubai’s strategic location.

India-UAE electronics trade reaches US$ 3.7 billion
India’s electronics exports to the UAE reached US$ 3.7 billion in FY 2024–25, making the Emirates the second-largest destination for Indian electronics hardware. The UAE’s logistics infrastructure and central location make it a key hub for reaching markets across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Bilateral trade between India and the UAE has surpassed US$ 100 billion, with electronics emerging as a major driver of growth. Trade enablers such as the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and Local Currency Settlement System — allowing transactions in INR and AED — are expected to further boost technology and electronics exports.
“India’s trade with the UAE continues to grow rapidly, and the electronics sector is at the forefront,” said Kamal Vachani, Regional Director, ESC (Dubai). “Dubai’s connectivity and investor ecosystem provide unmatched advantages for Indian exporters aiming to scale globally. The India Pavilion at GITEX reflects this synergy.”
Supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, ESC’s participation at GITEX Global 2025 is part of a broader strategy to strengthen India’s global competitiveness and position the country as a leading supplier of electronics and ICT solutions worldwide.
