India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully test-fired a new missile in the Agni series. The test-firing exercise was done from coast of Odisha, the DRDO sources said.

According a release from the Press Information Bureau (PIB) the DRDO’s launch was successful. “It successfully flight tested a New Generation Nuclear-Capable Ballistic Missile Agni P from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam island off the coast of Odisha.”
The missile is nuclear-capable.
