Indian diaspora in the United Kingdom organized an Indian Cultural Road Show at Slough on April 2 to promote Indian culture among the communities living in the UK.

The event saw an impressive performance on the Slough High Street in which the participants did a slow march along with dhol (drums), flags representing Indian colours and Gudhi.

The event showcased several traditional Indian performances, including folk dances like Kathak, Bharat Natyam and Garaba

The highlight of the roadshow was students walking the street in traditional Indian attires. Some took part in traditional attire, while others in the form of some Indian patriotic character or deity.

There were performances in Marathi, Bengali, South Indian, Punjabi, and Rajasthani as the aim of the Road Show was to represent different Indian cultures through cultural presentations.
