42-year-old Kerala native Shivakumar Mohankumar had returned to Oman days before his death

A 42-year-old Indian medical representative has been found dead at his residence in Wadi Kabir, Muscat, days after returning to Oman from a holiday in India, according to reports
The deceased was identified as Shivakumar Mohankumar, a native of Nedumangad in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram district. He had been working in Oman as a medical representative and was associated with the Oman Malayali Medical Representatives (OMMR), according to reports published on September 27-28.
Mohankumar had reportedly returned to Muscat from Kerala about a week before his death after completing his leave. He was found at his residence in Wadi Kabir, an area in Muscat with a sizeable expatriate population.
The Arabian Stories reported that Mohankumar had worked in Oman’s healthcare sector for several years, including a period as a pharmacist with Muscat Pharmacy, before taking up his role as a medical representative. It also reported that he was known among healthcare professionals and members of the Malayali community in Muscat.
