Tanishq, India’s premier jewelry brand, has expanded its footprint in the United States with the inauguration of two new stores in Texas, marking a significant step in the Tata Group’s international business strategy. The new Tanishq stores are located in Houston and Frisco, catering to the substantial Indian Diaspora in Texas, the state with the second-largest Indian community in the U.S.

The inaugural events were graced by esteemed guests, including DC Manjunath, Consul General of India in Houston, CK Venkataraman, Managing Director of Titan Company Limited, Kuruvilla Markose, CEO of Titan International Business, and Michael McCabe, Resident Director, North America, Tata Sons. Consul General Manjunath expressed his delight, emphasizing that Tanishq’s expansion in Texas strengthens the cultural and economic ties between India and the U.S.

Kuruvilla Markose highlighted Tanishq’s commitment to blending beauty with elegance and style with tradition, built on the foundations of authenticity, innovation, and trust. “In the USA, like our other 410 locations worldwide, we aim to delight our customers,” he affirmed.

Tanishq continues to captivate jewelry enthusiasts by seamlessly blending tradition and innovation, making its mark as a beacon of authenticity in the international jewelry landscape

Amrit Pal Singh, Business Head for Jewelry North America, Tanishq International Business, emphasized the brand’s dedication to quality, ethical sourcing, and a personalized retail experience. Tanishq aims to offer jewelry that embodies perfection to its U.S. customers, building on its successful presence in India and other international locations.

This strategic expansion in Texas is part of Tanishq’s broader international growth plan, with upcoming store openings planned in Chicago and the Bay Area. The company envisions adding 20 to 30 more locations in North America and the Middle East over the next two to three years, affirming its commitment to global outreach.

Tanishq made its foray into the U.S. market through e-commerce over two years ago and established its physical presence earlier this year with the opening of its first store in New Jersey. The company’s success in the U.S. market aligns with the flourishing jewelry industry, as evidenced by the U.S. Census Bureau’s estimate of $33.2 billion in jewelry store sales in 2020, reflecting a 25% increase over the previous decade.

With an impressive legacy of over 410 stores in India and an expanding global presence, Tanishq continues to captivate jewelry enthusiasts by seamlessly blending tradition and innovation, making its mark as a beacon of authenticity in the international jewelry landscape.
