 In a significant diplomatic move on January 22, 2024, Dr. S. Jaishankar, the esteemed External Affairs Minister of India, visited the High Commission of India in Abuja, Nigeria. During his visit, Dr. Jaishankar participated in a ceremony that showcased India’s deep-rooted connection with Nigeria.

The highlight of the day was the unveiling of a bust of Mahatma Gandhi, a symbol of peace, non-violence, and India’s rich cultural heritage.
