28 Kerala-based tech firms showcase innovation and digital excellence at the world’s largest technology exhibition
Thiruvananthapuram: Showcasing Kerala’s robust IT ecosystem and digital innovation capabilities, the Kerala IT Pavilion was inaugurated at the 45th edition of GITEX Global 2025, the world’s largest technology and startup exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, reported timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
The five-day event features 28 companies from Kerala, marking the state’s continued participation in GITEX since 2016. Spanning 96 square metres, the Kerala IT Pavilion highlights the state’s vision to harness technology for sustainable growth and social transformation, according to official statements.

Representing the Kerala government at the inauguration were IT Secretary Seeram Sambasiva Rao, Technopark CEO Sanjeev Nair, and Kerala Startup Mission CEO Anoop Ambika. They emphasised that the state’s IT policy is focused on nurturing a dynamic digital ecosystem, promoting industry–academia collaboration and public–private partnerships to drive innovation and employment.
Promoting innovation and entrepreneurship
The participating firms, drawn from Technopark (Thiruvananthapuram), Infopark (Kochi), and Cyberpark (Kozhikode), are presenting live demos and products in AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, ERP solutions, mobile and web app development, DevOps, and cloud computing.
The initiative is jointly supported by Kerala’s three major IT parks and the Group of Technology Companies (GTech), reaffirming the state’s growing role as a global technology hub and preferred destination for IT/ITES investments.
