Currently serving as High Commissioner to Ghana, Manish Gupta to take charge as India’s Ambassador to Ireland soon
The Government of India has announced the appointment of Manish Gupta (IFS: 1998) as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Ireland.
Manish Gupta, a 1998-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, will soon assume his new role in Dublin as India seeks to deepen bilateral ties with Ireland.
Gupta is presently serving as the High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Ghana, where he has been instrumental in strengthening India’s diplomatic and economic engagement with West Africa.
He is expected to take up his new assignment in Ireland shortly. His appointment underscores India’s continued focus on enhancing cooperation with European nations in areas such as trade, technology, education, and innovation.
