Only documents submitted between September 2–4 will be considered for NRI quota admissions
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a crucial notice for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates participating in the second round of NEET UG 2025 counselling. Eligible applicants seeking admission under the NRI quota must submit fresh documents to validate their NRI status between September 2 and September 4, 2025, reported telegraphindia.com.
MCC clarifies: Documents from Round 1 will not be valid for Round 2 NRI quota admissions
According to the MCC, documents must be sent via email to ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com by 11:00 AM on September 4, 2025.
All documents must be attached in a single email and in the prescribed format. The committee has reiterated that only fresh submissions for Round 2 will be accepted, and documents provided during Round 1 will not be considered.
NEET UG 2025: Required documents for NRI quota candidates
- NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard
- Valid passport of parent/relative (sponsor)
- Visa / Residence Permit / Work Permit
- OCI or PIO card (if applicable)
- NRI Certificate from Embassy/Consulate
- Certificate of relationship (family tree proof) issued by competent Revenue Authority
- Notarized affidavit from NRI relative confirming sponsorship of full course fee and living expenses, along with NRE bank account passbook
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
- Birth certificate
- Passport of candidate or sponsor (optional)
Strict compliance required for NRI quota eligibility
MCC has cautioned that failure to submit the required fresh documents by the deadline may disqualify candidates from claiming NRI quota seats in Round 2. Aspirants are advised to carefully check the official MCC website for detailed instructions and ensure timely compliance.
