PM Christopher Luxon to Strengthen Bilateral Ties with India During Official Visit

At the invitation of Prime Minister  Narendra Modi, the Right Honourable Christopher Luxon, Prime Minister of New Zealand, will undertake an official visit to India from March 16 to 20, 2025, accompanied by a high-level delegation.

Prime Minister Luxon’s itinerary includes visits to New Delhi and Mumbai.

On March 17, 2025, he will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Modi, focusing on enhancing cooperation across various sectors.

Prime Minister Modi will also host a lunch in his honor, and the visiting leader will meet Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu the same day.

This will be Prime Minister Luxon’s first visit to India, marking a new chapter in India-New Zealand relations.

 

As the Chief Guest, Prime Minister Luxon will deliver the Keynote Address at the inaugural session of the 10th Raisina Dialogue 2025 in New Delhi on March 17. This high-profile conference will provide a platform for discussions on global affairs and furthering international cooperation.

In Mumbai, from March 19-20, 2025, Prime Minister Luxon will engage with Indian business leaders and other prominent figures, strengthening economic and cultural ties between the two nations.

The visit highlights the enduring partnership between India and New Zealand and reaffirms their commitment to expanding cooperation across diverse fields while fostering closer people-to-people connections.
