NRI Achievers Awards 2024 celebrates achievements of NRIs

The awards ceremony featured an impressive list of honorees, each recognized for their exceptional contributions across various fields

The 3rd NRI Achievers Awards 2024, a prestigious initiative by Film & TV Trade Preview (FTTP), took center stage in London, celebrating the remarkable achievements of non-resident Indians and individuals of Indian origin. This distinguished event, held on July 20, 2024, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, London Heathrow, honored those who have made significant contributions to their respective fields, bringing pride to India on the global stage.

Following successful inaugural editions in Mumbai and Dubai, the London ceremony continued the tradition of recognizing excellence among the Indian diaspora. The event was a star-studded affair, highlighted by the presence of Chief Guest Usha Baroness Prashar, Guest of Honour Lord Rami Ranger CBE, FRSA, Conferrer Raageshwari Loomba, and Host Neel Ghosh, who also entertained the audience with standup comedy.

Baroness Usha Prashar emphasized the global success of the Indian diaspora, stating, “Our ceremonies showcase the pride in India’s greatest export–its people–who make a significant impact worldwide.” She underscored the importance of values such as hard work, education, and adaptability, urging the need to nurture these traits and focus on humanitarian goals.

  • The event was a true celebration of the global impact of Non-Resident Indians, reinforcing their significant role on the world stage

Lord Rami Ranger echoed these sentiments, attributing his success to strong values and the support of those around him. He commended the dedication of Ravi Kumar, the event’s founder, and extended heartfelt congratulations to the awardees for their outstanding accomplishments. He highlighted the critical role of women in his success and within the broader Indian community.
