United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based Indian businessman M.A. Yusuff Ali, Chairman of LuLu Group and Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, has announced a donation of Dh 21 million (Rs 47.28 crore) to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign—a charitable initiative aimed at providing healthcare support to vulnerable populations, reported siasat.com.
A Noble Initiative for a Worthy Cause
The Fathers’ Endowment campaign, launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aims to establish a sustainable endowment fund to assist those in need of medical care.
The campaign serves as a tribute to fathers, emphasizing the importance of giving back to society
Speaking about his contribution, Yusuff Ali said, “The Fathers’ Endowment campaign carries a profound humanitarian message by supporting underprivileged communities and ensuring sustainable healthcare for those most in need. Contributing to this noble cause is a meaningful way to honor one’s father, especially during the holy month of Ramzan.”
He further highlighted, “Our contribution to this initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reflects our unwavering commitment to the UAE’s humanitarian efforts. The UAE has a long-standing tradition of generosity and compassion, and we are proud to be part of this impactful movement.”
A Growing Movement of Philanthropy
With this significant donation, Yusuff Ali joins a growing list of philanthropists dedicated to supporting transformative healthcare initiatives across the UAE and beyond. His contribution underscores his commitment to corporate social responsibility and the UAE’s vision of fostering a compassionate society.
