Police have indicated they will proceed with further investigative steps following the family’s arrival from Canada
In Ludhiana, a 56-year-old Non-Resident Indian (NRI) tragically fell to his death from the 13th floor of a residential complex on Saturday night. Identified as Sinderpal Singh, the deceased had recently returned from Canada just three days prior.
According to the police, Singh had relocated to Canada with his family a few years ago, but he frequently visited India and maintained a flat in the complex where the incident occurred.
Authorities have yet to determine whether the incident was accidental, a suicide, or a case of foul play
“We are reviewing footage from the CCTV cameras installed throughout the building,” stated a police official.
In the meantime, Singh’s family in Canada has been informed and is expected to arrive in India shortly.
Police have indicated that they will proceed with further investigative steps following the family’s arrival.
