In one such case, a middle-aged woman in Pakistan decided to marry her man-servant.
Nazia, a single woman and an Islamabad resident lived all by herself. A friend had recommended her the services of this man-servant Sufiyan to take care of all her daily household chores.
Accordingly, she hired him as a full-time servant on a monthly salary of Rs 18,000.
As time went by, Sufiyan’s good-natured and simple ways struck a deep chord and Nazia soon found she was in love with him, according to Pakistani content creator and Youtuber Syed Basit Ali.
It didn’t take long for the lady to reveal her true feelings and propose marriage to Sufiyan. The servant overcome with shock and emotion fainted at first, but quickly recovered to accept the proposal of his mistress and declare that “I love you, too”.
In an interview Nazia told Syed Basid Ali that she used to live alone in the house and had no one of her own. She needed someone to help with with the housework. And that’s why she employed Sufiyan initially.
It didn’t take long for the lady to reveal her true feelings and propose marriage to Sufiyan. The servant overcome with shock and emotion fainted at first, but quickly recovered to accept the proposal of his mistress and declare that “I love you, too”.
According to Nazia, Sufiyan takes care of her when she falls sick. He even cooks for her and also gets her medicines. Nazia has compared him to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, while Sufiyan refers to Nazia as his Katrina Kaif, a popular Bollywood actress.
Their love runs deeper than money and appearance as it is a connection of hearts. Interestingly, she was the first to fall in love in this beautiful tale.
Although they had to endure public ridicule for their relationship prior to marriage, they have never left each other’s side. Nazia says she might even transfer ownership of her house in the name of her husband
The couple also sang a song for each other and expressed their love in the video. Sufiyan sang ‘Kacchi Pencil Naal..’ while Nazia sang ‘Humne Aana Hoga Duniya Mein Dobara..’.
