ISLAMABAD: Pakistan, has expressed criticism of the recent remarks made by India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh during his visit to the Kargil War Memorial in Ladakh’s Drass town.
Singh stated that India is prepared to cross the Line of Control (LoC) to uphold its honour and dignity, reaffirming that there will be no compromise in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, unity, and integrity, a PTI report in The Tribune, Chandigarh, says.

Pakistan has taken issue with Singh’s “belligerent rhetoric,” perceiving it as a potential threat to regional peace and stability. The Foreign Office in Islamabad responded by asserting that Pakistan has the capability to defend itself against any form of aggression.
Furthermore, Singh also highlighted the Kargil War, which he stated was imposed on India, and he expressed disappointment in Pakistan for what he described as a betrayal during previous attempts at resolving issues through talks.
