As India accelerates its journey toward energy security and sustainability, Qatar’s commitment reinforces the strong bilateral ties between the two nations, ensuring a collaborative and progressive approach to meeting India’s growing energy demands
New Delhi, India – February 11, 2025: Qatar has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting India’s energy ambitions as the country continues to diversify its energy mix, an ANI report appeared in The Print said.
Speaking at the inaugural day of India Energy Week 2025, Qatar’s Minister of Energy and President and CEO of Qatar Energy, Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, emphasized Qatar’s role as a reliable energy partner for India.
“We see ourselves as partners and friends in India’s energy journey. Whatever we can do to serve the Indian market and support its growth, we are fully committed,” Al-Kaabi stated in an exclusive interaction with ANI. His remarks came during a ride on a hydrogen bus inside the Yashobhoomi complex, highlighting India’s transition towards sustainable energy solutions.
Reflecting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s virtual inaugural address, Al-Kaabi praised India’s “magnificent plan” for energy diversification, noting that the country has already achieved milestones that many others struggle to attain. He stressed the importance of maintaining a balanced energy mix that includes all available sources.
