In a dazzling celebration of culture and achievement, Rijul Maini, a 24-year-old medical student hailing from Michigan, emerged victorious as Miss India USA 2023 at the prestigious annual pageant held in New Jersey. The event, now in its 41st year, stands as the longest-running Indian pageant outside of India and was founded by the visionary Indian-American couple, Dharmatma and Neelam Saran, under the banner of Worldwide Pageants.

During the pageant, Sneha Nambiar from Massachusetts was bestowed with the title of Mrs. India USA, while Saloni Rammohan from Pennsylvania clinched the coveted Miss Teen India USA title, as reported by PTI.

Rijul Maini, not only a dedicated medical student but also an accomplished model, aspires to become a surgeon and serve as an inspiring role model for women worldwide, as highlighted in a press release. Virginia’s Greeshma Bhat secured the first runner-up position, and Ishita Pai Raikar of North Carolina claimed the title of the second runner-up.

This year’s pageant not only crowned deserving winners but also underscored the significance of the platform in fostering talent, leadership, and cultural pride within the Indian-American community

The event drew the participation of 57 contestants from over 25 states, competing in three distinct categories: Miss India USA, Mrs. India USA, and Miss Teen India USA. The winners of all three categories will receive complimentary air tickets to participate in the Miss-Mrs.-Teen India Worldwide competition organized by the same group.

Expressing gratitude for the unwavering support from the global Indian community, Dharmatma Saran, the founder and chairman of Worldwide Pageants, remarked, “I am very much thankful to the Indian community around the world for their support over the years.” This year’s pageant not only crowned deserving winners but also underscored the significance of the platform in fostering talent, leadership, and cultural pride within the Indian-American community.
