Sri Lankan President Dissanayake recently met with India’s envoy to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and addressing ongoing issues between the two countries, reported deccanherald.com. The meeting underscored the potential for enhanced cooperation in key areas, including Indian-assisted projects, power and energy sector development, and digitalization in Sri Lanka. Officials report that both sides remain committed to furthering partnerships in these fields.
President Dissanayake expressed a keen interest in tapping into India’s expertise to advance Sri Lanka’s power and energy infrastructure, as well as its digital initiatives.
