The incident highlights the dangers of high-speed travel and the importance of road safety measures, as well as community solidarity in the face of tragedy
In a devastating accident near Toronto, Canada, four youths of Indian origin lost their lives after their Tesla vehicle crashed into a road divider and erupted into flames, gujaratsamachar.com reported.
The accident tragically claimed four of the five passengers, with the sole survivor pulled to safety by courageous bystanders who acted quickly as the car burned.
Although the cause of the crash remains under investigation, it has renewed focus on Tesla’s safety features, particularly the vehicle’s advanced autopilot system, which has come under scrutiny globally for previous incidents
Authorities have identified the victims, including two siblings from Dahod, Gujarat: Keta Gohil, 30, and her younger brother Neel Gohil, 26. Another victim, Jayrajsinh Sisodiya, hailed from Borsad in Gujarat’s Anand district and was known to be the nephew of former Borsad MLA Rajendrasinh Parmar. The fourth victim, Digvijay, is believed to have roots in Maharashtra.
The fatal accident has left both the Indian and Canadian communities in mourning, highlighting ongoing concerns around road safety and vehicle control technologies.
