The 28th NRI Festival of Music and Dance, known as ‘Sangita-Natya Utsav,’ and the 34th Annual Festival of Music, Dance, and Drama for the year 2023-2024, commenced with a spectacular inauguration on December 17 in Chennai. Organized by Hamsadhwani, the festival promises a mesmerizing blend of cultural performances, captivating audiences until December 30.

Ranjani Koushik, the esteemed president and founder of SciArtsRUs, a non-profit organization based in California, commended Hamsadhwani as more than an organization; it stands as an institution deeply dedicated to fostering diverse art forms. Reflecting on the rich cultural tapestry of the city, H. Shankar, director (technical) at CPCL, Chennai, expressed his delight at witnessing the vibrant cultural scene after the challenges posed by the pandemic.
