Demand for UK educational institutions among Indian students is still high. The latest trend shows an increase in the number of students who opted for UK universities and colleges over domestic ones. IDP Connect, international education specialists, monitors student attitudes and motivations towards university study during the pandemic through its International Student Crossroads Reports indicates that 83 per cent of Indian students with an offer to study in the UK in the autumn expect to commence their studies as planned, around September. The study was done in April this year.
Universities UK International, an organisation representing 146 UK universities, welcomed the students as a positive sign to the students in person after improvement in the Covid-19 situation in the UK.
