Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican nominee for the upcoming US Presidential election, has gained traction within a segment of the Republican Party, primarily due to his conservative stances and vocal support for former President Donald Trump, according to reports from m9.

Ramaswamy made headlines once again by pledging to abolish birthright citizenship in the United States. During a recent town hall event, he stated his intent to deport all children born in the US to undocumented immigrant parents if he were to become President. Throughout his campaign, Ramaswamy has openly championed conservative values, drawing both acclaim and criticism from various quarters.

Ramaswamy identifies as an upper-caste Hindu nationalist, and some critics have accused him of displaying apathy toward certain issues, often attributing this perception to his personal background and beliefs

Notably, despite benefiting from affirmative action policies himself, he views them as a form of racism and supports state-level bans on abortion. The abolition of birthright citizenship would necessitate amendments to the US Constitution, as the 14th Amendment currently guarantees citizenship to anyone born on US soil.

Ramaswamy’s stance on this issue aligns with that of former President Donald Trump, who had also promised similar actions if re-elected.

It’s worth noting that Ramaswamy identifies as an upper-caste Hindu nationalist, and some critics have accused him of displaying apathy toward certain issues, often attributing this perception to his personal background and beliefs.
