Vistara starts Pune-Singapore flights

  • The inaugural flight departed from Pune at 0210 Hours (IST) and arrived in Singapore at 1030 Hours (GMT)

  • It was flagged off by Indian Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia, virtually, in Delhi

  • The airline will operate 4x weekly flights on this route using its A321neo aircraft

Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata group and Singapore Airlines, started its non-stop flights between Pune and Singapore on December 2. The inaugural flight departed from Pune at 0210 Hours (IST) and arrived in Singapore at 1030 Hours (GMT). It was flagged off by Indian Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia, virtually, in Delhi. The airline will operate 4x weekly flights on this route using its A321neo aircraft.

An inaugural event was organised at the Pune airport which was attended by Gavin Roch, Vice Consul, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore; Prashant Girbane, Director General, Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) and Deepak Karandikar, President, MCCIA.

The event was virtually attended by Indian Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia; Vinod Kannan, Chief Executive Officer, Vistara; Chandrakant Patil, Cabinet Minister, Maharashtra & Guardian Minister of Pune;  Dr. Sudhir Mehta, CMD, Pinnacle Industries Pvt. Ltd. and other dignitaries.
