The Punjab government has already taken legal action against several travel agents operating without licenses.

He called on the Centre to enforce stricter immigration laws to prevent further exploitation of aspiring migrants.
The minister highlighted that while immigration laws fall under the Union Home Ministry’s jurisdiction, the state government is committed to spreading awareness through seminars. He urged people to avoid illegal migration routes like the ‘donkey route’ and consider local opportunities instead.
