Madayn organises art expo to support talent from Child Care Centre

Organised in partnership with Alia Gallery, the exhibition displayed art works of the children from the Child Care Centre affiliated to the Ministry of Social Development

MUSCAT: The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates “Madayn”, represented by its Social Responsibility Department, organised on Wednesday, June 1, ‘Furshat Al Noor’ Fine Art Exhibition. 

Organised in partnership with Alia Gallery, the exhibition displayed art works of the children from the Child Care Centre affiliated to the Ministry of Social Development. 

The Department of Social Responsibility at Madayn had earlier launched ‘Furshat Al Noor’ initiative with the aim of strengthening the role of social responsibility by adopting and engaging fine art talents from the Child Care Centre in art workshops. 

These workshops were also open to the children of employees of companies based at Madayn’s industrial cities.

Sponsored by Muscat Steel Industries and A’Saffa Foods, the exhibition presented a platform for investors, business owners and employees of the companies and factories in the industrial cities of Madayn to support and encourage these talent, as the proceeds from sale of paintings will be given to the Child Care Centre.

These workshops were also open to the children of employees of companies based at Madayn’s industrial cities.

This initiative comes in line with Madayn’s efforts to support social responsibility activities. Madayn launched several activities and initiatives in this regard to achieve its social responsibility objectives and contribute to sustainable partnership and development. 

Madayn’s Social Responsibility Department works closely with the private sector, specifically the investing companies in the industrial cities, to strengthen the role of social responsibility in the Omani society.
