Madayn BoD discusses developments of Sur International Port

The meeting  was  chaired by His Excellency Dr. Saleh bin Said Masan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of Madayn’s Board of Directors. 

Muscat: The Board of Directors of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates “Madayn” held its second meeting for the year 2023 in Sur Industrial City.

The meeting  was  chaired by His Excellency Dr. Saleh bin Said Masan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of Madayn’s Board of Directors. 

The meeting was followed by a field visit in Sur Industrial City, during which the board was briefed on the projects and achievements made during the last period

Team members also visited the waterfront site of the international port project planned in Sur Industrial City and discussed the developments to expedite the pace of work on this project.

The Board of Directors, accompanied by officials of Sur Industrial City, then visited a number of local companies and factories

They also visited  the Al Hael Ceramic Company and Oman India Fertiliser Company (OMIFCO) to get familiarised with their production lines and observe the opinions and recommendations of the investors.
