Prominent organizations like TANA and ATA have played crucial roles in representing Telugu Americans and fostering cultural exchange. While TANA has traditionally represented the influential Kamma community, ATA takes a more inclusive approach with a strong presence of Reddys. Additionally, the Global Telangana Association (GTA), established in 2022, aims to unite Telangana NRIs under one banner.
The influence of Telugu NRIs extends beyond financial contributions. Their connections with the US government enhance their value to India. Political leaders, such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recognize their importance and share details of deals made during their US visits, highlighting their role as a bridge between the two countries.
