The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and local MP Amar Singh are coordinating the return of Manjot’s body, expected to arrive by Friday
Manjot Singh, a 21-year-old from Ludhiana, Punjab, died in Dubai in June following an alleged assault by a group of Pakistani nationals. Singh, who had moved to Dubai a year ago and worked for a pharmaceutical company, was reportedly attacked during a clash.
Dilbag Singh described his son as the family’s sole hope, expressing profound grief over the loss
His father, Dilbag Singh, stated that Manjot’s roommates informed them of the attack, which involved knives and other sharp weapons. The family was unaware of the incident for days until they received the tragic news. Manjot’s father had taken a loan to send his son to Dubai for a better livelihood.
