Akasa Air Expands UAE Operations with New Direct Routes
Indian airliner Akasa Air has introduced daily direct flights to Abu Dhabi from Bengaluru and Ahmedabad strengthening its presence in the UAE, reported khaleejtimes.com.
Akasa Air has expanded its international network with daily flights to Abu Dhabi from Bengaluru and Ahmedabad in addition to its existing Mumbai-Abu Dhabi route.
The company said the expansion is driven by “a favourable response on Akasa’s Mumbai-Abu Dhabi route and flourishing demand for travel to UAE from all corners of the country”.
The daily flight from Bengaluru departs at 10am and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 12:35pm while the return flight leaves Abu Dhabi at 3am and reaches Bengaluru at 8:45am local time
Daily Flights to Abu Dhabi from Bengaluru and Ahmedabad Begin
Flights from Ahmedabad depart at 10:45pm and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 1am. The return flight leaves Abu Dhabi at 2:50pm and reaches Ahmedabad at 7:25pm local time.
Akasa Air now connects 22 Indian cities and five international destinations including Mumbai Ahmedabad Bengaluru Chennai Kochi Delhi Guwahati Agartala Pune Lucknow Goa Hyderabad Varanasi Bagdogra Bhubaneswar Kolkata Port Blair Ayodhya Gwalior Srinagar Prayagraj Gorakhpur Doha Jeddah Riyadh Abu Dhabi and Kuwait City.
The airline launched its first commercial flight on August 7 2022 to meet the growing demand for air travel across India and commenced international operations on March 28 2024 with non-stop flights from Mumbai to Doha.
