A 32-year-old man, identified as Jerdaine Foster, has been arrested in Niagara Falls, Ontario, for the fatal shooting of Indian medical student Harsimrat Randhawa in Canada. Foster faces charges of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder, according to Canadian media reports, reported gujaratsamachar.com.
Harsimrat Randhawa, a 21-year-old physiotherapy student, was an innocent victim caught in a violent clash involving multiple suspects.
Police revealed that at least seven individuals, four vehicles, and multiple firearms were involved in the April 17 shooting at Upper James Street and South Bend Road in Hamilton. Bullets reportedly pierced a nearby home, though no one inside was injured. The violent confrontation is believed to have begun minutes earlier and escalated into gunfire at the bus stop where Randhawa was waiting.
