The discussions took place between Nivedita Shukla Verma, Secretary of the Union Ministry of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, and Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, Vice Minister of Industry and Minerals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to an official statement, both sides explored new avenues of collaboration, emphasising research and development, technology sharing, and workforce training to support the growth of the sector. The meeting also highlighted the strategic and economic importance of India-Saudi Arabia cooperation, with both nations reaffirming their commitment to sustainable and mutually beneficial industrial growth.
