Andhra Pradesh-born technology professional Manohar Reddy, who is based in the United Kingdom, has been honoured with the NRI Achievers Award 2026 for his work in artificial intelligence and data science.

Reddy received the award at the fifth edition of the NRI Achievers Awards, held at The St Regis Singapore on July 31. The event recognised professionals and entrepreneurs from several countries for contributions across technology, business, healthcare, education, research and community development.

  • Reddy is an alumnus of BVC Engineering College in Odalarevu, Andhra Pradesh, where he completed a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

  • He later pursued a master’s degree at the University of Bedfordshire in the UK

His professional expertise includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, data engineering and digital transformation — areas that are playing an increasingly important role in the global technology sector.

The latest recognition adds to a series of honours received by Reddy. In 2025, he was named Adult Achiever of the Year at the Luton’s Best Awards. He was also a finalist at the UK IT Industry Awards, organised by Computing in association with BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.

The Singapore awards brought together Indian-origin professionals from countries including the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UAE and others. Reddy was among 24 individuals recognised in different fields, with his award specifically highlighting global achievement in AI and data science.

Speaking after receiving the honour, Reddy said the recognition was a significant milestone and would encourage him to continue learning, innovating and contributing to the technology sector.

He also expressed hope that his journey would encourage young professionals to develop skills in emerging technologies and pursue opportunities on the global stage.
