Canada extends ban on flights from India

Canada has extended ban on all direct commercial and private passenger flights from India. The ban, as per the order, would continue till September 26.

In a statement issued by the Federal Transport Ministry said, “Travelers eligible to enter Canada will be able to board direct flights from India once the restriction on direct flights expires, provided they have a proof of a negative COVID-19 test.”

Air Canada, Canada’s largest airline, however, resumed operations in India after a four-month suspension.
