DILIP KUMAR: Legendary Actor of Indian Cinema passes away at 98

The legendary actor breathed his last at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. He was suffering from pulmonary fibrosis and was admitted to the ICU for treatment. He was 98.

The cinematic legend of India Dilip Kumar passed away in Mumbai on Wednesday (July 7, 2021). He was 98.

The legendary actor breathed his last at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. He was suffering from pulmonary fibrosis and was admitted to the ICU for treatment.

“He was on treatment for the last three to four months now. He was suffering from advanced prostate cancer that had spread to other organs of his body.”

He was given a family name Yusuf Khan, but he ruled the Indian cinema for decades as Dilip Kumar.

Dilip Kumar was awarded with India’s second highest civilian award, Padma Vibhushan in 2015. The then Home Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, presented the award at his residence due to the actor’s inability to travel to New Delhi
