Crabs in coriander and mint

INGREDIENTS:

3 medium sized crabs

Salt

1 tsp turmeric powder

For the paste

3 tbsps mustard oil

3 tsps ginger garlic paste

One cup browned onions

Half cup mint coriander chutney

Salt

2 tsps or more green chilies paste

Remove the legs of the crabs. Drop all the crab pieces in boiling hot water . Add salt and turmeric into the water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes. Put off the heat. Allow the crabs to remain in the hot water for 5/6 minutes more. Drain out the water and keep aside.

Prepare the gravy by heating the oil. Add the pastes . Cook over medium heat till oil separates. Mix in 2 cups of water. Add salt and mix n the crabs. Cook on low fire, covering with a lid. Cook till gravy thickens. Adjust the consistency of the gravy as per your needs. Serve with parathas.
